Ava is a life long farmer, carpenter, and artist. She grew up on a farm growing and selling flowers. After earning a bachelor of science in horticulture and environmental studies from UW-Madison, she moved to Kenya to apply what she learned (see Kenya blog).
Currently she is based in Puna, Hawaii. She enjoys melding her profession in agriculture with her passion as an artist to create sustainable permacuture landscape design.
